Fairfax Master Naturalist Chapter Earns Award

One of our largest (in terms of number of members) chapters, the Fairfax Chapter, has been named the 2011 Cooperator of the Year by the Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District. They were recognized both for their environmental leadership and for their on-the-ground work with stream monitoring, storm-drain stenciling, and education/outreach on watershed topics.
