Welcome!

Welcome to the Virginia Master Naturalist blog. As the state program coordinator, I have the opportunity to visit our chapters all over Virginia and hear about their activities and accomplishments. I also have the opportunity to network with the state agencies that sponsor the program and with many other local, state, and federal partners. I thought a blog might be a good way to share news about the program, our chapters, and Virginia natural resources with our 600+ volunteers...and anyone else who wants to read it. Important information, such as announcements about advanced training opportunities, will still be distributed via our Chapter Coordinators' Listserv. I welcome feedback from our volunteers on how to make this blog more useful for them. Enjoy!
